Course Design Process

Incremental changes to a course can allow you to efficiently manage both the technological and pedagogical adjustment. We have identified some key milestones for the course design and review process


How can I start making changes to my course?

  1. Identify a teaching challenge, course, or part of a course you would like to address.
  2. Contact us to discuss ideas for the course and examine your existing syllabus and resources.
  3. We will discuss potential technologies or approaches to match pedagogical goals.
  4. Collaborate with LIFE to draft outcomes, milestones and a project timeline.
  5. We will demonstrate or prototype an example of the solutions discusssed.
  6. We will support a faculty member during implementation. 
  7. LIFE will meet and correspond with faculty to discuss successes and possible improvements.
