As announced in the message from President Frenk to the University of Miami community on December 29, 2021, classes at the Coral Gables and Marine campuses will transition to remote instruction for the first two weeks of the spring 2022 semester. Classes will begin as scheduled on January 18 and in-person instruction is expected to resume on January 31.
While the university teaching community has a strong grasp of a variety of teaching modalities from previous COVID-prompted transitions to online, hybrid, and flipped teaching modalities, we have prepared this document as supplemental guidance to make the start of the spring 2022 semester as smooth and effective as possible for faculty members and students alike.
