The HTC Vive is a virtual reality headset that uses "room scale" tracking technology, allowing the user to move in 3D space and use motion-tracked handheld controllers to interact with the environment

 


EinScan-SP Platinum Desktop ScannerEinscan

The EinScan-SP is a powerful desktop 3D scanner that is able to capture the geometry of small to medium size objects in three dimensions. The EinScan-SP uses structured light technology and offers two 3D capture modes: Fixed Scan and Auto Scan. The Auto Scan mode uses a turntable with markers to capture objects from a 360° angle. It is a versatile and fast 3D scanner that offers high quality results.

With an Insta360 camera, users can take 360-degree photos and videos in high definition, and live-stream their experiences directly onto social media platforms. When viewed in a VR headset, Insta360 experiences can transport people into places and moments they’ve never before imagined. 


Swivl

Swivl
Swivl is a robotic platform which can be used for recording presentations or class lectures. Users can connect a smartphone, tablet, or DSLR camera, and use the free Swivl app to record a video of the presentation.

Handy Recorder H4

Handy RecorderThe H4 Handy Recorder is a handheld digital audio recorder from Zoom, featuring built-in condenser microphones in an X-Y stereo pattern.  It also offers advanced features such as time stamping, phantom power and mid-side decoding, as well as onboard multi-effects and guitar/bass amp modeling making it a great audio companion.

The Duet PCS Desktop Speakerphone from Phoenix Audio is a compact and discrete desktop speakerphone that's ideal for use at a personal desk, or in small to mid-sized conference rooms.  In addition to conferencing, the USB connection can be used to play back computer media or to record a meeting.


Headset MicrophonesHeadset Microphones

Noise cancelling microphones keeps unwanted noise from masking your voice, particularly for capturing audio for video lectures, or web conferencing sessions. Academic Technologies has a range of high-power stereo headset microphones, with full size ear cushions for extended playing time. We currently have four headset microphones (Logitech h450, Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000, Plantronics Audio 355, Sennheiser PC 151) in our inventory.
